FC 347
  • SYMPTOM:
    • External frequency counter is erratic and unstable 
  • PROBLEM: 
    • L22 is out of alignment 
  • SOLUTION: 
    1. Remove bottom (speaker) cover of radio 
    2. Set channel selector to 1 
    3. Set band knob to D on 6 band models and E on 8 band models 
    4. Set band switch to HI (if applicable) 
    5. Connect scope to bare lead of L50 (located next to IC10) 
    6. Adjust L22 (inside radio) for maximum signal on scope.
